9/28/17 Third Grade Blog

9/28/17

Dear Families,
What a HOT week we have had!  Despite the heat, students have kept positive attitudes and have stayed focused.  Here is what we have been doing:

Writing:  Students are continuing to write entries in their writer's notebooks!  We learned how we can 'Lift a line' in order to create a new entry!  We are so impressed with their enthusiasm for writing!

Reading:  We are into the routine of our reader's workshop!  Students are selecting books, responding  by demonstrating their comprehension, and conferencing with a teacher.

Upcoming Dates:

10/6 + 10/9  NO SCHOOL
