4/5/18 Third Grade

4/5/18

Dear Families,
We are in the middle of the ELA SBAC testing window!  We are SO amazed at how focused our third graders are on doing their personal bests.  We have observed that this is a very long, intense assessment requiring them to stay focused for 90 or more minutes.  It is only natural that they may be feeling drained at the end of the school day.  Because of this, we have not been doing anything else in our afternoon ELA block.

Poetry:  During our word study block in the morning we have started our poetry unit!  Invitations have gone home for our annual Mother's Day Poetry Breakfast on May 10 at 8am.

Upcoming Dates:

4/16-4/20   April Vacation
5/10           Poetry Breakfast
