6/13/19 Third Grade

Dear Families,
Where has the time gone?  This time of year is full of excitement and reflection.  It has been an honor to work with your children this school year.  Trust us when we say that we learn more from them than they will ever learn from us!  We are thankful that we will have them again next year for fourth grade humanities. 

Reading:  We are continuing with our Mystery Book Clubs as well as reading a mystery together for read aloud.

Next Year:
Students will find out on the last day whether they have Mrs. White or Mrs. Jesmonth for their homeroom.  They will continue to have us for humanities and Mrs. Kauffman or Mrs. Gingras for math.

6/13    Fifth grade Step Up Night
6/17    Third Grade Field Trip
6/18    Amazing Race Day (More Details to Follow)
6/19    Last Student Day/Noon Dismissal


High/Low
High- we started a new unit, going on a field trip, and it’s getting hot, a lot of fun days coming up
Low- it’s almost the end of school
HIgh- the field trip is coming up
High- the field trip is coming up, we have Wellness Day, it’s almost the end of school
High- the field trip is coming up, it’s almost summer vacation
Low- I will be missing you guys
High- it’s almost the end of school, it’s getting warmer, a lot of fun things coming up

6/6/19 Third Grade

Dear Families,
There is a buzz of excitement in our building today!  The fifth graders are getting ready to present their year long Capstone projects and we are all very enthusiastic and eager for tonight's Celebration of Learning!  This is such an exciting, and busy, time of year.  Here is what we have been doing...

Reading:  We are very focused on our mystery unit!  We are trying to figure out who has been stealing all the pumpkins in the book we are reading!  We will soon begin mystery book clubs.

Writing:  We are using our writing block to finish up any local assessments we need to complete before the end of the school year.

6/6     Celebration of Learning BBQ 5:30pm
6/17   Third Grade Field Trip  (Look for information to come home today!)
6/19   Last Day of School (Noon Dismissal)
