Dear Families,
We have had a very productive week! Here's what we have been doing:
Reading: Our students have selected 'Just Right' books and are building their reading stamina! We are exploring our library during read aloud by reading the first chapter of popular series!
Writing: We are in the gathering ideas stage of writing! We are filling up our heart maps and idea banks using the strategy of gathering ideas from other authors.
Word Study: We have completed our fall assessments in word study and are currently reviewing word types, syllable types, and grammar.
