11/9/2017 Third Grade

11/9/2017

Dear Families,

We have had a great week!  Here is an update...

Reading:  Students have been working hard on their reading 'grit'!  They did a self assessment and made reading goals to improve their grit.  Then, they learned and practiced word attack strategies they can use when they come across difficult words.

Writing:  Students have all chosen the topic for their personal narratives!  Everyone has conferenced with Mrs. Thompson to discuss their topics and we are ready to start drafting!
