Dear Fourth Grade Families,
We have had a great week! Students selected to participate in the Veteran's Day celebration have been working hard practicing and preparing. We hope as many as possible will join us Saturday at 11am for this event. Here is what we have been doing:
Humanities: We have switched our focus from mapping to Vermont. We started a new read aloud, Cave of Falling Water which is set in Vermont of 3 different time periods.
High/Low
High- we get an icecream party
High- we have an icecream party with extra recess, I get to play with my lacrosse ball at recess
High- no school tomorrow
Low- winter is here
High- we don’t have school tomorrow
Low- can’t go to the Veteran’s Day ceremony
High- We get to start experiential learning soon
High- we don’t have school on Friday and the ski program is starting soon
Low- it’s hot out today
High- I’ve been practicing for the Veteran’s day, the frost, experiential learning
High- winter is finally here, beginning Jingle Bells
High- Mrs. Franklin is turning into us and we are turning into Mrs. Franklin
Low- winter

Low- no literacy tomorrow
High- experiential learning is coming
Low- my cards ripped
High- winter is almost here
Low- we don’t have school on Friday
High- we are doing our Trailblazing Scientist slide shows
High- yesterday we got to go to the lower field
Low- I got covered in mud and no school tomorrow
HIgh- winter is almost here
Low- no school tomorrow
High- it’s Thursday! We get an extra day off, and band, and winter is coming
Low- winter is coming
High- we’ve been practicing reading our essays, winter is coming and I get to wear my new snow gear, we are starting a new book in ELA, we are playing Jingle Bells
Low- harder than I think to play it with an instrument.
High- we have no school on Friday
High- winter is coming, the Bolton program, no school on Friday
Low- I fell at recess
High- The ice cream party is coming soon, we got to go to the lower field

Low- can’t attend the Veteran’s Day ceremony, winter is coming, not enough winter gear
High- I’m excited to get started with the Vermont packet
High- Working with the Veteran’s Day essay kids
