9/22/23
Dear Families,
We've had another great week in third grade! Here is what we have been up to:
Literacy:
We have launched our writer's workshop! Students personalized their writer's notebook covers and worked to fill in their 'heart maps'. Heart maps are a tool students will use to come up with topics to write about. Students learned that the best stories come from our own hearts and brainstormed things that are near and dear to them.
In reading, we have begun learning about our classroom library and routines for independent menu time.
Upcoming Dates:
9/28 Open House
10/6 Fall Excursion Day! (More information to come next week)
