Dear Families,

What a week!  We appreciate your patience and flexibility as the district navigated this storm!  We were so happy to be back in our routine this morning.  Here is what we did this (unexpectedly short) week.

Humanities:  We continued with Because of Winn Dixie.  We are gathering information on the characters and working on making predictions.  In writing, we completed and shared our paragraphs on our break.  Students had to tell us three things about their break: 2 truths and 1 lie.  As a class, we tried to guess which one was the lie!  They did an amazing job!

3/22     Early Dismissal

High- St. Patrick's Day

Low- I don't get to see you on Friday

High- no school on Friday

Low- I don't like cursive, I don't like the Red Clover series

High- we are doing cursive

High- we had snow days

Low- no school tomorrow

High- we are making fossil molds in science

Low- snow day yesterday

high- we had a snow day

Low- we are not going to see you on Friday

High- tomorrow is St. Patrick's day

High- Snow day yesterday, we get to miss school tomorrow

High- we get to do Fun Friday and Clever today, tomorrow is St. Patrick's day, no school tomorrow

low- I have to be with mom during conferences, it's cold outside

High- tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, making fossil molds

Low-  we won't be here tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day

Low- it's the end of the week

High- St. Patrick's Day tomorrow, we aren't going to be here tomorrow
