Dear Families,
It has been a wonderful full week back with our third graders! Here is what we have been doing:
Humanities:
We have started learning about different celebrations around the world! Students are comparing these celebrations with ones that they celebrate at home. We are currently reading The Wild Robot. Students are being given choice during independent time on what they would like to do including reading, writing, Lexia, or Lalilo.

High- being with third grade
Low- it’s so cold outside
High- I get to meet someone special today

Low- it’s been cold
High- we have music today
High- we are doing an experiment
Low- Ms. Franklin won’t turn on the heater
High- we got to have Blue Devil Time
Low- it’s so cold
High- it’s the end of the week
High- in science, we are doing an experiment
High- the skiing program opened
High- we are doing an experiment
High- Sophia is back, learning new winter celebrations, we have music today
High- we get to go to music today, and we are learning about new holidays from different countries
High- today I’m going to ONWARD for just a few minutes
High- we are reading The Wild Robot
High- the snow is melting
Low- it’s still very cold
High- we are doing the Super Bowl at recess, rock climbing in PE
Low- I didn’t get to do ONWARD this week
High- it’s been a good week
Low- the cords on the headphones
High- Celebrations around the world
High- Learning about the celebrations
Low- not being here yesterday
