It's hard to believe that this is the last week in March! This is a busy time of year and we have been very productive. Here's what we have been doing:
Reading: We are focusing on reading poetry and inferring the meaning of the author's words. We are also looking for strategies the poets use when writing.
Writing: We have been learning lots of poetry forms! Students are doing an amazing being creative with their writing. We will be turning their poems into a class book for each student to take home. Remember to mark your calendars for our annual Mother's Day Poetry Breakfast on May 9th from 8-8:40.
