11/3/23 Third Grade

 11/3/23

Dear Families,

We had a wonderful week highlighted by our annual Halloween Parade through town!  Here is what we have been up to in class:

Literacy:  We have started the read aloud, The War with Grandpa.  We use this book as a mentor text to think about personal narratives. In the coming weeks students will begin reading and writing personal narratives. In word study, we focused on vowel teams.

11/8   Early Release

11/9   No School, conferences

11/10  No School, Veterans Day

11/22-11/24  No School, Thanksgiving Break

High- getting to eat candy at school

Low- we had to walk down and up a big hill
