10/21/22
Dear Families,
We have so many exciting things going on! Here is an update:
Humanities: We have started reading, The War with Grandpa, and are practicing asking questions while we read. In writing, we have wrapped up launching our writer's workshop! We are starting our narrative writing unit today. In word study, we are reviewing syllable types.
Halloween: This year we are participating in a Halloween Parade at The Gardens in town. We will walk down and enjoy a picnic lunch before parading along the grounds. Students are encouraged to wear costumes. Mr. Banios is asking that students not wear masks, make-up, or carry props. We have gone through these expectations with students.
Upcoming Dates:
10/31 Halloween parade
11/2 1pm Dismissal
11/10 No School: Parent Conferences
11/11 No School: Veteran's Day
