Welcome to a new year of third grade! We try to update our blog every Friday after our Third Grade Meeting. Students brainstorm things that went well this week, their 'highs' and things that were difficult, their 'lows'. We also update you on what we have been doing and always end with a picture!
Dear Families,
What an amazing start to our school year! Students have adjusted well to new expectations and routines. We had a WONDERFUL day at the Tunbridge Fair yesterday! We'd like to thank all of our chaperones for making this trip possible. Here is what we have been up to:
Humanities:
We have been launching both Reader's and Writer's Workshops! In reading, students are learning how to select 'just right' books and getting to know our classroom library. In writing, students are gathering ideas by listening to other stories.
