Dear Families,
We have had a great week! Here is an update:
Reading: Students are continuing to work on ways to better comprehend what they are reading. They are working on sticky noting and applying the strategies they learned in our lessons to their independent reading.
Writing: We have started brainstorming ideas for our personal narratives. We will learn three strategies for brainstorming and then students will choose an idea. We will take this writing piece through the entire writing process.

High- today is Unified Sports
High- we had Mrs. Dez came here
Low- we didn’t get to do the whole wellness activity
High- the guest came from Norwich
High- we are doing elapsed time in math
Low- I feel on the playground
High- we are doing guitars in music
High- we get to write in our writer’s notebooks
High- we are working on a new song in music elective on guitar
High- Miss Dez came to visit
Low- she had to leave so soon
High- the music elective worked on drums
High- Miss Dez came in and we got to see her
Low- Mrs. T had to leave early yesterday
High- we are finally finishing Stone Fox
High- Me, Leah, and Savannah get to have lunch with Mr. Smoller
High- we finished our pumpkins in art elective
High- in onward we found a baby squirrel and we got to pet baby ferrets
High- Yesterday we did sticky noting
Low- Mrs. T. Had to leave early
High- We are starting our first writing pieces
Low- I had to leave early
