3/21/25 Third Grade

Dear Families,

We have had a wonderful week!  Here is what we have been up to:

Literacy:  We finished The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.  Students did an amazing job having really deep conversations about the development of the characters.  We have moved on to another Kate DiCamillo book in order to do a mini author study!  We are currently reading, Because of Winn Dixie.

Dear Families,

We have had a very productive week even though it was a short week!  Here is what we have been up to:

Literacy:  We have finished writing our explanatory pieces on how to be a good friend.  Students are currently working on typing their final drafts.  We have been reading Edward Tulane and tracking how Edward has changed throughout the story.
